Supplies Needed

- Glossy cardstock paper (8.5″ x 11″)
- Toy car with plastic blister packaging
- Clear double-sided tape
- 100% acetone
- Cotton pads or paper towel
- Scissors or cutting machine
- Optional: craft knife
The Best Paper for Toy Car Holder Templates
For the best results, we recommend using glossy cardstock paper so the colors stay bright and the finished packaging has that smooth, professional look.
One of our favorites for printable party crafts and DIY projects is Party & Confetti glossy cardstock paper. It prints beautifully, dries quickly, and gives these toy car holders that smooth, professional finish.
Printing Instructions
- Print the PDF file on glossy cardstock paper for the best results.
- The PDF includes 2 labels per page to help save paper and ink.
Using a Cutting Machine
A single PNG file is included for Cricut or Silhouette users.
Cricut Design Space Tips
- Upload the single PNG label.
- Select Print Then Cut.
- Resize the design to:
- 4.25 inches wide
- 6.5 inches tall
- You can fit 2 labels per page using the Print Then Cut feature.
Assembly Instructions
- Carefully cut out your printed toy car holder design.
- Remove the toy car and plastic blister from the original packaging.
- Use a small amount of 100% acetone to clean off any leftover paper or adhesive from the blister.
- Place the toy car back inside the plastic blister.
- Apply clear double-sided tape around the edges of the blister.
- Attach the blister to your printed card design.
- Your DIY Father’s Day toy car gift is ready to gift or display!
