What You’ll Need
Here’s everything you’ll need to make your own Bible Verse Egg Fillers:
- My Design Space Project (linked below)
- Cricut Machine – Any model that supports Print Then Cut (like Cricut Explore, Maker, or Joy Xtra).
- Note: The original Cricut Joy doesn’t support Print Then Cut—but no worries! You can still print your design and cut it out with scissors.
- Printer| Any good-quality inkjet printer. Here are some excellent options.
- Glossy Paper Sheets/Photo Paper
- Standard Grip Cricut Mat
- Cricut Fine Point Blade
- Plastic Easter eggs
- Scissors (if cutting by hand)
Step 1: Customize Your Labels
Open Cricut Design Space and select my Bible Verse Easter Egg Fillers Project.
You can tweak the text or change the colors if you’d like to match your Easter theme—just be sure to keep the size the same so they fit snugly inside your plastic eggs.
(I don’t recommend resizing, or they might not roll up small enough.)
Step 2: Get Ready to Print
Click that little “Make It” button and send your design to the printer.
- For the best results, I like using our HWTK glossy paper sheets—they really make the colors pop!
- Also, don’t forget to turn off bleed before printing for a crisp, clean look.

Step 3: Let Cricut Do the Cutting
After printing, let your Cricut machine cut out each Bible verse label with precision. (So satisfying to watch, right?)
No Cricut? No worries—you can also cut them out by hand with scissors.
Step 4: Fill Those Eggs!
Carefully roll up each Bible verse strip like a mini scroll and tuck it inside your plastic Easter eggs.
These are perfect for:
-
Easter baskets
-
Sunday school lessons
-
Church egg hunts
-
At-home faith fun with your kiddos!
