Supplies
Before we jump into the steps, here are the supplies I used (and recommend!):
- Marshmallow Snowman in Hot Cocoa SVG/PNG (get it here)
- Marshmallow Snowman S’mores Sleigh Ride SVG/PNG (get it here)
- Snowflake Background Stencil SVG/PNG (free download)
- DIY Party Glossy Paper Sheets – they make your colors pop and your wrappers look amazing!
- Printer: Any good-quality inkjet printer that prints high-quality images will work. Here are some excellent options.
- Double-Sided Tape Runner →
- Scissors or Paper Trimmer
- Hot cocoa packets, mini marshmallows, chocolate spoons, candy canes, and clear treat bags

Step-by-Step: How to Make a Snowman Soup Hot Cocoa Packet Wrapper
1. Set Up Your Label Design in Canva

- Open Canva and select Custom Size (I used 4.14″ x 10.14″ for a single label).
- Upload the PNG files included with your SVGs (these are easier to layer and size in Canva).
- Turn on rulers and guides to help evenly divide your design and keep everything aligned.
2. Design & Duplicate Your Labels
- Create your single label design, layering the snowman and snowflake PNGs. Add your title (“Warm Up With a Cup of Snowman Soup”) and any custom touches like QR codes or instructions.
- Don’t forget the poem! I added the classic Snowman Soup poem to the back of each wrapper. For the best results, I flipped the poem upside down on the design—this way, when you wrap it around the cocoa packet, the poem reads right-side up on the back.
- TIP: When you’re happy with your label, save it as an image (PNG or JPG).
- Open a new full-size (8.5″ x 11″) Canva page and add two copies of your label to fit the page—this saves paper and makes batch crafting easier.

3. Print Your Labels with the Right Settings

- Download your finished page as a PDF Print for best quality.
- For the most vibrant, professional results, I highly recommend using our DIY Party Glossy Paper Sheets. They’re designed for party printables, give amazing color, and are super easy to use at home!
- Print on glossy paper using your printer’s “Photo High Gloss” or “Best” quality setting for those gorgeous, smudge-proof colors. (See my settings below!)
4. Cut & Assemble
- Trim out each label using scissors or a paper trimmer.

- Fold the label, add adhesive to the sides, and secure your hot cocoa packet inside.
5. Fill & Finish
- Place your cocoa packet, chocolate spoon, candy cane, and marshmallows in a clear treat bag.

Pro Tips
- Personalize your wrappers with names or a holiday message for that extra-special touch!
- Mix and match SVGs/PNGs from PCC to create your own unique designs.
- Use glossy paper for the most vibrant colors.
